Alberto La Porta

Projects coordinator – Senior Architect

Graduated in Architecture in 2006 at the Politecnico di Torino  with a thesis on the regeneration of the former industrial area Officine Grandi Motori. OAT member, from 2006 to 2009 he collaborated with the UdA studio in #Turin. From 2010 to 2011 he is partner with architect Emanuele Franco, of the IDEeA studio in Venaria. Since 2011 he has collaborating with the G *AA studio.

Graduated in 2003 at Politecnico with a thesis on the techniques of management of artificial lighting in museums.
OAT member, since 2006, she has been continuously collaborating with the G*AA study.

Mauro Camagna

Project manager – Senior Architect

Graduated at the Politecnico with a thesis on the renovation and analysis of a historical typology, “Le case listate”, and their development as a historical heritage. OAT member, he worked for the “Municipal office for Architectural heritage” .
For serveral years he has collaborated with the UdA studio, as executive architect and project manager for innovative and high quality architectural works, national and international. He’s is collaborating with the G * AA studio since 2018.

Matteo Brancali

Project manager – Architect

Graduated in architecture in 2011 at the Sapienza di Roma with a thesis on the renovation of former industrial area of calcium carbide in Papigno (Terni).
After different working experiences in Rome in 2013 he moved to London where he collaborated for 5 years with the studio Aukett Swanke specializing in executive design for luxury hotels.
Next to his archicteral profession he carry on a passion for photography.
He’s collaborating with studio G *AA since May 2018.

Gianluca

Gianluca Discalzi

Project manager – Architect

Graduated in 2012 at Politecnico with a thesis on the renovation of an informal settlement in Instanbul, since 2012 in a OTA member.
After graduation he moved to Cairo where he collaborated with one of the most interesting architectural firm of the Middle East.
He worked abroad, Panama and Spain for several years. Since 2017 he has collaborating with the G *AA studio.

Francesca Graglia

Architect

Graduated in 2015 at Pontificia Universidad Calólica de Chile in Santiago de Chile and in 2016 at Politecnico di Torino with
a thesis on the recovery of a building of theValparaiso historical heritage for the redevelopment of the port area, the Barrio Puerto.
Since 2018 is an OAT member, she has collaborated with several architectural practices in Turin and abroad, including POLIDURA + TALHOUK ARQUITECTOS. She collaborated with Studio G *AA since 2019.

Francesca Montaldo

Architect

Francesca Montaldo was born on 24/03/1982 in Turin.
She graduated in Fashion Design at the European Institute of Fashion Design Lab in Milan in 2004, working with Super Studio 13 in Milan and Crisfer Company of the brand Fisico.
She graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Turin in 2011 with a thesis on the re-functionalisation of the Moncalieri factory.
From 2013 to 2018 she collaborated with the F & F Design Studio of Fulvio Fantolino in Turin.
At the same time, he works as an interior design consultant for private individuals.
Since June 2019 he has been collaborating with the G*AA.

Architect

After her high school degree, in July 2015 she graduated in sustinable Architecture at Politecnicoditorino with a thesis on scenography in collaboration with the “Teatro Nuovo”. She obtained professional qualification in January 2017, and after some experience in several firms she collaborates with G*AA practice.

Salvatore Risafi

Project manager – Architect

Graduated in 2012 at the Politecnico with a thesis on urban regeneration  about the Ex-Scalo San Paolo area in Turin. In 2014 he attended the “Designing the Smart City” Master of science  at Università degli studi di Firenze, graduating the following year. Since 2013 is a OAT member, he has collaborated with several architectural practices in Turin and Milan, including Metrogramma and DeCarloGualla.  He collaborated with Studio G *AA since 2016.

Chiara Cattaneo

Architect – Administration

Graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin, she is an OAT member.  She worked in  public building projects as a designer for building renovation and conservative restoration on the most important historical sites of the Italian Chambers of Commerce. She worked for few years in the executive design and construction supervision of large exhibitions, in Basel and Paris, and in 2015 in Expo Milano, for the construction of the China Vanke pavilion in Libeskind. In 2016-2017 she collaborates to the constructive design for the regeneration of the Officine Grandi Riparazioni of Turin and joins the G*AA studio team.

Laura Brea

Marketing

Graduated in Media Studies in 2016 at the Università di Torino with a thesis on social media.
During his university studies she worked at an advertising graphic studio. For three years she worked with Luxottica as assitant brand manager. From May 2017 she is a marketing and communication junior manager at G * AA practice.
Role model for the innovative marketing project in collaboration with Archikiller.

Luca Marseglia

Architect

He graduated in architecture at the Faculty of Roma Tre in 2016 with a thesis on the redevelopment of a complex around the lake Lungo in Sperlonga, in the province of Latina.
He has collaborated with several studies of the Roman landscape from 2013 to 2019 working on projects for offices, hotels and residential complexes of great importance.
Since 2019 he has been working with G*AA.

Sarah Elena Pischedda

Architect

Graduated in Architecture Heritage Preservation and Enhancement at Politecnico di Torino in 2016 with a thesis on the reuse of an abandoned village in the north of Sardinia.
In 2018 she obtained the diploma at the Postgraduate School of “Beni Architettonici e del Paesaggio”.
Between 2016 and 2018 she publishes several papers, deepening the research around the themes of reuse of historical architecture and the relation between old and new in the restoration project.
After some collaborations in architecture firms in September 2019 she joins the G*AA team.

Luca Costantino

Architect

He concluded his academic career in July 2018 by developing a thesis that focused on the requalification, through parametric techniques and LEED protocols, of unused spaces at the Unicredit headquarters in Turin.
It fits into the working context through experiences in the field of interior design, developed at some of the most successful studios in Turin.
Always attracted by the world of photography, he is a member of the Order of Architects and has been working with G*AA since November 2019.

Junior architect

Graduated in Architecture for the Sustainable Project, her keen interest in climate change and her fascination with the natural world lead her to work on a thesis project that links the two topics and seeks solutions to the environmental challenges to which mankind is subjected, through the science of biomimicry. She began collaborating with the G*AA study in June 2019.

Diana Ferretti

Interior designer

Graduated in Interior Design from IAAD university of Turin in 2019 with a thesis on the design of learning environments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her interest in the social topic of architecture has allowed her to collaborate with associations active in the field and since December 2019 she collaborates with the G*AA studio.

Fabio

Fabio Maffìa

Architect

Graduated in Architecture, Construction, City at Politecnico di Torino in July 2019 with a thesis worth publishing on the food smart city: a circular project for the disused rail yard of Porta Genova in Milano. He obtained a double degree with honors at Politecnico di Torino and Politecnico di Milano. During his studies, he spent one semester at TU/eindhoven, in the Netherlands. He holds a post-degree Diploma in Innovation Management from the highly selective Alta Scuola Politecnica which led him to acquire interdisciplinary horizontal skills in a truly multidisciplinary environment.
He joined the team of G*AA as architecture intern in October 2019.
